World Oceans Day Celebration at the NY Aquarium #WorldOceansDay

Even before kids my husband and I love going to the aquarium.  My husband always had a fish tank for as long as I’ve known him.  He grew from a love of fresh water fish to the more colorful and beautiful salt water fish and corals.  The ocean plays a big part in our lives where vacations always involve water and beach in one manner or another.  One of our first trips together when dating was a diving trip in Hawaii.  I was in complete awe of this beautiful majestic and powerful thing called the ocean.  It’s sad where you open up the papers or read online the devastation occurring in this beautiful water source.

DSC_0010On June 8th, we celebrate the UN designated international World Oceans Day.  This is a day to honor and educate everyone about the ocean which we depend on in various ways to survive and thrive.  The NY Aquarium is opening up its doors for a very special weekend (June 7-8th)  full of fun and educational activities starring everyone’s favorite oceanographers, Nickolodeon’s Bubble Guppies!

Join Molly, Gill and Bubble Puppy as they celebrate the seas with crafts, meet & greets with NY Aquarium divers and marine biologists as well as five attendees will have a chance to win a fin-tastic prize-pack, featuring an assortment of Bubble Guppies product.  I know a couple of little guppies who can’t wait!
