Mr. Met’s Kids Club is Back and Better Than Ever! #metsmoms

Amazed by the Amazin' MetsIt’s finally spring time and for my family that can only mean one thing: baseball is back! For those of you who have been following through the years, it’s safe to say you are aware that we favor the NY Mets in my home, but as a mom, being a Mets fan isn’t just about the team. While I’m all about David Wright and the Amazin’ Mets, as parents, the game is as much about my family’s enjoyment of a day spent together at the ballpark, as it
is about who wins.

Being at Citi Field to take in a game with the kids is a fun and thrilling experience for the whole family. The Mets are the most proactive team in the league in regards to the full family experience, conveniences around the stadium, food options, and merchandise for even the tiniest fans.

One of the things my kids enjoy participating in yearly, is the Mr. Met’s Kids Club. We sign the boys up every year, and while this year’s membership is similar to last year’s there are a few extra amazin’ perks.batting practice in the kids zone

First, there are two levels of membership for your budget, the Orange level which is only $29, and the Blue level, which is FREE.

With the orange level membership, you receive 10, that’s TEN complimentary ticket vouchers, that can be used for any game outside of a few select premium games. (Last year, only 4 tickets were included). That’s only $2.90 per ticket! Also included, is a kids club tee shirt (available for shipping if not picked up at Citifield), membership card and lanyard, your child’s name on the scoreboard during the game (must check in at the center field kiosk by the end of the first inning), a cut the line privilege for the Kids Run The Bases after all Sunday afternoon home games, and new this year, all orange members will receive 4 tickets to a 2015 Brooklyn Cyclones (Minor League A Level Team) game, to watch the Mets of the future! For each Family Sunday game that members in both the orange and blue membership attend, you will receive a stamp for your membership card.

Based on how many Family Sundays you attend, you will have the opportunity to earn Amazin’ rewards:

7 Games, and you will earn a Mets Cap.

10 games, and you will receive a Mets duffle bag, but the most exciting reward, is on the field recognition in front of the crowd before the final Mets Sunday game of the season for attending all 13 Sunday games this season, an experience your kids will remember their entire lives!

All Orange members will also be eligible for other prizes and opportunities, including the chance to watch a batting practice from the field. All this, for just $29! The value cannot be beat!

The blue membership will receive 4 ticket vouchers, membership card and lanyard, and have all the same rewards for numbers of games attended. All for FREE!

Littlest Mets Fans

Last year, my boys enjoyed many benefits of their memberships. While we weren’t able to reach 13 games, the boys loved going to games and having their cards stamped and would be elated every time they went to “check in” at the club. One of their favorite things was to see the Mets welcome them on the big scoreboard at every Sunday game. The kids also used their first priority pass at the Kids Run the Bases, which is almost as big a deal for the parents, even if they aren’t running on the field to high five Mr. Met as they round 3rd base and head for home!

For more information or to place your order by phone, the NY Mets have set up a dedicated Mr. Met’s Kids Club Hotline, at (718) 559-3115, Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

You may also contact the Mets by email at  or sign up at the kiosk behind center field during any Mets Family Sunday game.
