REVIEW: Inglesina Net Stroller & Skip Hop Grab and Go Saddlebag

IMG_0576Always on the search for the perfect system for travel, I was thrilled to check out the Inglesina Net stroller and the Skip Hop Grab and Go Saddlebag on our recent trip to Walt Disney World.  With all that walking around, maneuvering around crowds, exploring and so much more, you know it was the perfect testing ground. I’ve been a fan of the Inglesina brand for a while now and they are well known for their quality strollers and we are huge lovers of Skip Hop in our home from diaper bags to toys.  The Inglesina Net stroller and the Skip Hop Grab and Go Saddlebag were the perfect travel companions for our trip.

NET: WHAT WE LOVE

  • Love the removable seat liner! On day 3 of our trip, my Luca promptly squeezed his Mamma Chia Blackberry Bliss pouch all over himself and the stroller (see photo below). While some did seep through the strap openings in the liner, a majority of the mess was contained and easily washed away once we got home.
  • IMG_1146Love the SPF 50+ shade and its generosity. I’ve noticed a trend of flimsy sunshade coverage on umbrella strollers, but this cover generously comes out with very nice coverage area.
  • Love the breath-ability! Fresh back from sunny, hot and humid Florida, the mesh seating was a godsend for my little one who does not respond well to humidity.
  • Love that they included the cup holder. It’s more of a premium stroller addition but they included one!
  • That said, they also have an adjustable footrest, another premium umbrella stroller feature.
  • Incredibly lightweight coming in at 11lbs folded.
  • It stands by itself. For apartment dwellers, it the perfect space saver! For this germaphobe, no parts that are in contact with your child, touches the floor.

NET: ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

  • IMG_1145More stabilization for the cup holder. Depending on the size of your drink, the cup holder can easily flip over and well… there goes your drink!
  • The recline is ever so slight, wish is was a little more of an angle.

Once your child has graduated the fancy strollers and your practical mom side takes over, the Inglesina NET is the perfect stroller to take you on the road and even for day-to-day use.

We couldn’t rave enough about the Skip Hop Grab & Go Stroller Saddlebag.  When I first saw a photo of it my first thought was “How PERFECT!” and I knew we had to have it for our trip! My husband, who rarely gives an opinion on any products, actually told me it was genius and he really loved it.

moments before the big squeeze…

SKIP HOP: WHAT HE/WE LOVED

  • The neutral color, black is universal.
  • Pockets, lots of pockets.  My husband doesn’t like having to carry things himself, on him. He loved throwing his wallet and cellphone alongside swim diapers and change of clothing for baby, all in one easily accessible place.
  • He loved that it left room for water bottles and other things that should be in the stroller basket, weighing it down as he rationalized.
  • How easy it was to install and didn’t interfere with the function of the stroller.

SKIP HOP: ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

  • He wonders if it is also interchangeable for the other side of the stroller, rather can he add another one to the other side.

{ disclosure: I received a sample of the Inglesina Net Stroller and Skip Hop Grab & Go Stroller Saddlebag for review.  No compensation was received.  As always, all opinions expressed here are my very own! }
