Can One Accessory Make a Camera? #Nikon #D3300 #DisneyKids

wu-1aWhen it comes to cameras, I’m a bit of a purest.  I can often be found standing on my soapbox and shouting, it’s not the camera, it’s the photographer that makes a great shot.  So it’s rare when I come across an accessory that could really make me declare it AMAZING!  Perhaps it’s because I’m a social media mom and this little accessory makes my life so much easier and not to mention so much prettier.  The photographer in me always wants beautiful shots and the camera phone just doesn’t cut it.  Yes there are some great camera phones but nothing shoots like a DSLR.  So I live in this strange place where I want to be proactive and in the moment with my pictures on social media but at the same time I know there’s something to be said for quality photos.  Those awesome shots on my camera require a lot of work though.  I have to wait to get home, and many times I then have to find the time to download and then edit them before then transferring to my social media outlets.  Sometimes I feel like I’ve missed the boat if I wait but it’s what must be if I want those quality shots.  Many times if I do wait, I wind up pushing it off, you know, due to life and all and by the time I get around to it, the moment is lost and I’ve probably made some PR person out there pretty mad at me.

This little marvel, the Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter, changed my life.  Using the WU-1a optional wireless mobile adapter you can now automatically send great images to your smartphone and even use your smartphone to remotely capture images from compatible Nikon D-SLRs and COOLPIX cameras. With an easy to use app, now when you can’t wait to share that great shot you don’t have to.  Share it to your smartphone in a instant.

Another neat feature I discovered with the Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter is Wi-Fi Shooting. Images can be taken remotely using a compatible smart device using the camera’s Live View preview on the smart device to frame and compose the subject.  This is perfect for those shots you want to be in and you’re not behind the camera.  Once the shot is perfectly framed, you can remotely click the shutter from your compatible smart device.  How SMART!
