Once you live in New York City, you become so spoiled by the fast paced, instant gratification of a city that never sleeps.  Only in New York City can you have food delivered to your home 24 hours a day – seriously after the kids are asleep I get cravings for greasy fast food I’d never let them eat, watch a movie at 2AM in the morning (my favorite thing to do when fighting with the hubby – let him wonder where I’ve gone!), have breakfast for dinner, or go clubbing until the sun comes up (not that I do that anymore). Even other so called major cities of the US can’t even make the same proclamations of N.Y.C.  Seriously how can one claim to be a major city when everyone is asleep by 2AM?!

I love New York City. Even with millions of people in this great city, you can still have that small town feel where they know your name at your favorite bakery or nail salon.  It’s those small touches that makes me a loyal customer for a lifetime. How will I ever leave you New York City?! Especially when you finally decide to make the switch to FiOS, because BETTER MATTERS, and they show up within the hour at your doorstep to do just that!

So maybe I didn’t just make a switch to FiOS, I’ve been a long term customer from the minute they entered my neighborhood. In fact I was the crazy person who checked relentlessly waiting for them to come and was one of the first to sign up, simply because BETTER MATTERS. Customer service is something I am crazy about. I really appreciate and notice when companies go out of their way for maintain my business, continue to improve their services and reward their loyal customers. I am a very loyal customer to Verizon because they are doing all those things and more. They’ve earned not only my mobile services, my land line, but also my internet and television business. While I didn’t just make a switch to FiOS, I did recently upgrade to 150/150Mbps and it was so incredibly easy.  I hadn’t realized there was more to making an upgrade than simply a few clicks on the computer, but that was totally okay. We’ve all heard those infamous horror stories of the “time frame windows” which were way bigger than they ever say they are.  I expected I’d get a “window” of 3-4 hours too, but was completely shocked to be able to make an appointment within the hour.  I admit I was a bit skeptical that they would actually show up in an hour, but lo and behold, just shy of an hour later, a Verizon FiOS truck pulled right up to my home.

The incredibly nice technician answered all my questions because I had to ask, if I already had FiOS, why did he have to come to my home to upgrade my speed? Turns out 150/150 required some newer wiring which he was happy to install right then and there. Another hour and a half later and I was up and running!  The technician even made sure that all my (bazillion) devices were hooked up and running. Talk about instant gratification! Now all of my families bazillion devices are running side by side with no lag in speed.

Because fiber-optic networks use glass, they are not vulnerable to electrical interference. That means better network reliability. Don’t believe? Take the Verizon Speed Test now! Is your broadband connection up-to-speed?

Right now, Verizon FiOS has sweetened the deal with it’s best deal ever. Make the BETTER switch, and switch to FiOS with 100/100Mbps, Custom TV and Home Phone for only $69.99/month.  With a purchase of certain 2-year contracts, you can even snag a $300 Visa Gift card for making the switch! With a 30 day money back guarantee, what do you have to lose?

{ disclosure:  I am a Verizon Lifestyle Ambassador and #LifeOnFiOS Ambassador.  I have been a long time FiOS customer, since the very first day it came into my neighborhood 7-8 years ago and have never turned back!  As always, all opinions expressed here are my very own! }
