A New Approach to Capture Life’s Precious Moments with #meetBEMO by @Logitech

photo 1With the ever growing capability of social media to record and broadcast life’s big moments, there is the need to capture these events in the fastest, easiest way possible.  Most of us, including myself, are able to simply pull out our mobile phones and open the camera or video camera within the phone and ‘snap’ away.  This isn’t much of a challenge, and it seems to be the quick and easy method to capture these moments, but for users like myself, this often takes up a ton of memory on our mobile phones.  photo 2With the amount of videos I take on a regular basis, I am often left with little room to download other things, or having to delete videos and pictures to make room for new ones. This can be frustrating because the whole point of taking those videos  is that one can look back on them in the future!  BEMO, a social camera by Logitech is a product that comes in handy in situations like these.  I think that the creators of BEMO had many of my concerns in mind. With the creation of BEMO, this mini, pocket-sized video camera allows you to easily record multiple clips of uninterrupted video without having to give much thought.  The BEMO‘s best feature for iPhone users like myself, is that you can continue to record videos and you’ll never have to delete them. The removable SD card slot, gives you the flexibility to always add more cards, and the 4 GB start up card that comes with the BEMO is designed to hold approximately 3 hours of HD Video. Not even my 16GB iphone can do that!

Whether it be to capture your little one going down a slide alone for the first time or to record a live performance on the streets of Dublin, Ireland (as I did when I was recently there on vacation), the BEMO brings your memorable experiences to life with quality HD video recordings.

Some things to consider:

  • The BEMO does not have a viewing screen so the only way to replay your videos is via Bluetooth through the accompanying app. While I actually find this helpful for editing purposes, some people prefer to view what they are ‘filming’ as they are taking a video
  • You must hold down the record button while you are recording. The moment you stop pressing the record button, your video ends – something that can potentially make “selfie” videos a bit more challenging

photo 3What we LOVE about the BEMO:

  • It’s small size makes it easy to throw in a bag and take with you.
  • It also comes with a bungee cord which you can easily wear around your neck, making the camera itself easily accessible for an impromptu video.
  • It is so simple to use, even my four year old has mastered taking videos with the BEMO.
  • Did I mention it’s rugged built and it’s water resistant? Yes it can withstand even my 4 year old playing with it an he is fascinated with it.
  • The BEMO videos captured transfer in seconds to a handy accompanying app on my phone which allows me to review, edit, customize with headers, music and filters and then post my newly made videos in a snap, without using up precious hard drive space.
  • The battery life is pretty long, which gives its user the ability to take many videos throughout the day (or several days in many instances)
  • The included 4GB SD card, is designed to record and save up to 3 hours of video. Once this fills up, you can delete old saved videos, or, simply pop out the card, and put in a new one. The old SD card, acts as an additional back up, so long as it is stored properly.
  • All while taking super high quality 720p HD videos with an impressive 8 medgapixel lens!
