Staying Organized with HP #HPFamilyTime

{ disclosure: I am a #HPFamilyTime Ambassador.  I received the HP ENVY Rove20 and HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One printer for review.  I received no further compensation and this post mentions products that are self purchased with no discount. }

We have been living in a solely PC world now for a few months now and it’s been life changing!  The HP Envy Rove 20 is the perfect family computer.  This social media mom, not only is able to do everything from tweeting, posting to managing her blog life but also managing her family life too.  The MASTER calendar, which holds my blog, family, kids and work schedule, resides on this marvel of a machine and syncs perfectly with my Nokia Lumia and my husband’s android phone.  No longer do I have to hear, I didn’t know that we were doing that or what are we doing today? On any given day, we’re all on the same page schedule wise.

This school year marks my daughter’s first foray into serious school work with home work.  The HP Rove has been a perfect aid to her homework time.  She and her tutor spend many hours playing learning games from SpellingCity.com as well as researching the most pressing of questions that day, not to mention clocking in hours and hours of rainbow loom YouTube tutorials.

hpenvy4500In combination with our HP Envy 4500 All-in-One ePrinter, we can take on the world!  I can print out recipes for tonight’s dinner before I even get home, homework assignments or permission slips, applications, etc.  I can make photocopies in a pinch and scan pictures for school projects.  The eprint feature is by far my favorite feature!  If you haven’t discovered it, you don’t know what you are missing!  EVERYTHING in our house is wireless.  The ability to print from anywhere is just life changing.  I can be lying in bed (just like I am now), wanting to print a coupon for tomorrow.  I can just click to print and boom, there it is!   Since my life is a chaotic and yet organized mess, the HP Envy 4500 printer is one more tool I am utilizing to keep myself and my family more organized.  If there is an important document that needs to be signed, before I lose it in my inbox, I can be at the gym and simply sent to my personalized hp eprint address and have it waiting on my printer at home.  I love when I get home and my husband hands me my printed documents — “These were on the printer for you to sign.”  Why thank you dear hubby!

Another great features is being able to having it anywhere in the house!  At first I had no place to put it and just placed it in the nursery.  I know, strange location, but at the time, we were cleaning house for a possible move and it was chaos.  The office had way too much equipment and no outlet to spare.  The problem with it being in the nursery was  that the kids were fascinated by it and couldn’t stop playing with it, touching it, etc.,  Finally I moved it into our bedroom entertainment console.  It is now tucked neatly and out of the way and my prints are always where I expect them to be!

I admit to being a loyal HP LaserJet user just because printing can get a little out of hand and I was so worried about the cost of ink cartridges.  Then I discovered HP Instant Ink, an amazing subscription base plan that takes all the worries about when to replace them and cost of replacing them.  You can save up to 50% on ink and still get authentic original HP ink for your printer!  Read more about HP Instant Ink here: http://momconfessionals.com/2013/09/print-away-hp-instant-ink-hpfamilytime/
