SPOTTED: Yoomi Self Warming Bottle

Fresh off of our road trip, this was an awesome find I wished we had on the road.  This just might have been the thing that calmed my baby who was screaming for 8 and a half hours of a 14 hour drive.  In just 60 seconds, the Yoomi warmer warms the BPA-free bottle up to the natural temperature of breast milk and that is just pretty darn amazing!  It doesn’t need to be plugged in and it doesn’t need batteries!  What is this thing called Yoomi?!

It is an amazing little beehive shaped warmer that you just pop into a pan of boiling water or an electric steam sterilizer to charge it (not in the microwave!) for 25 minutes.  That’s right, you heard right, CHARGE IT!  It’s rechargeable (up to 100 times or 3 months!) and stays charged until you need it.

With a simple push of a button, the special phase change gel flows into a series of channels on the outside of the warmer to gently heat the bottle to 86-90° F for up to one hour.  We’ve been tooling around with it for a few days now and let me tell you, as long as the infant is still bottle feeding, we will never leave home without one again.

Now some might think 25 minute charging time is a long time, but coming soon is a Yoomi warmer than can be recharged in the microwave in under 2 minutes.  What will they think of next?!

Yoomi, already a hit in the UK,  just hit state side sold in 5oz and 8 oz starter packs, as well as individual warmers and various flow teats.  You can purchase Yoomi online at their website

That’s pretty cool, I just wish it was cheaper.

this is what i need! and self washing bottles! haha…=)

  • Jessica

That’s pretty awesome, but seems really costly. You can’t just buy one. You’d need at least 3 to start.

They do sell bundled packages on their site. This is perfect for travel, you can still use the bottles sans warmer for daily use.

So much better than those car warmers. Those stink, takes forever to warm up and basically only warms up the outside. Lots of hot spots. Those Brits!

I agree, 60 seconds is perfect in a pinch or screaming child.

Oh I am definitely going to need to pick one of these up for our trip. My daughter hates cold formula.
