Ultimate Blog Party 2011

I am so happy to be joining this Ultimate Blog Party for the second year in a row!  While I have been blogging for several years now, it was mostly read by my family and friends.  These days I have readers from all across the globe and feel so blessed to be a part of this community.  I have met so many wonderful people through this medium and through wonderful parties like this!

A little about myself,  I am a mother of two beautiful children, a daughter who is 3 going on 30 and a baby boy who just just got his legs and can chase us in circles now.  I also talk a lot about my 7 year old nephew as he is such a huge part of our family, and here with us so often I consider him as one of my kids and he was my first (practice) baby. 🙂 I am finishing up my BS in Nursing at Columbia University’s School of Nursing, graduating this May and will continue on to my masters of science where I hope to graduate in late 2013 as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.  I am a CLC, Certified Lactation Counselor, which was a natural fit for me as I have breastfed my children for a combined total of 3 and a half years and hope to for at least another 6 months.  I am very passionate about the benefits of breastfeeding and love sharing with anyone and everyone about it’s magical properties  – just ask!

I blog about our lives in my free time and cover everything from our travels, to product discoveries and reviews, our love for design and technology especially when they’re green too, things we love to eat, things we love to do and all the joys I find in being a parent.   I’ve been very fortunate to partner with some amazing brands that we adore this past year and offer some truly amazing giveaways.  It’s been so amazing to share in conversations with my fellow parents and especially the new ones.  My road to parenthood was as unique as each and everyone elses and I love hearing about them all.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you won’t be a stranger!  If you want to join the party, find out more at 5 Minutes for Mom.

  • I’ve been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for
me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
