REVIEW: Barbie – A Fashion Fairytale

{ disclosure : was provided a copy of Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale  from MomSelectBarbie to facilitate this review but the opinions expressed here are always my own }

Barbie has gone tech in more than one way.  Barbie of my days was all about imaginative play.  Never having a Barbie doll of my own, I vowed that if my daughter wanted a Barbie, she would have as many as she wanted.

Barbie isn’t just dolls now, she’s got movies!  In this colorful animated heartwarming movie Barbie is an actress who is recently fired from her latest movie and dumped by Ken (?%!@*) and trying to find herself in fabulous Paris!  “Tweet that and Post it on my blog” – Barbie is for this generation for sure.  Visit her aunt, the head of a failing fashion empire, Barbie learns there’s more to life than fabulous frocks while helping her Aunt save her company. My little fashionista/ballerina loved this movie.  She was dancing around the whole time while watching the movie!

Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale was released on September 14th at stores across the US and Barbie toys are available now!  For more information, and amazing games related to the movie, you can also visit .
