REVIEW: Abe’s Market, a name you can trust!

{ disclosure: I requested and received a sample of reusable produce bags and eczema rescue cream, but the opinions expressed here are my own }

I recently stumbled upon Abe’s Market which brings together an impressive collection of companies that are all green, natural and eco-friendly.  These are all names and brands you have come to know and trust — California Baby, Born Free, Green Toys — as well as new ones you’re guaranteed to be pleased with as well. They’ve got the entire family covered, even the furry four legged ones too.  With a cozy neighborhood market and a selection that rivals superstores, they have items for the gourmet chef, families on a kosher diet, toys, furniture, herbal remedies, and even hard to find items like all natural suncare.

What makes Abe’s Market unique is that it creates a community of sharing and really bringing a face to the companies they seller  – it’s like having a conversation with your best friends.    Every month they bring one of their amazing sellers front and center to tell their story as well as giving them a voice on the blog covering everything from Green Living to even things like Photography tips!  Mom’s are always sharing information and Abe’s Market rewards mom’s for doing what they already naturally do.  By sharing Abe’s Market with (3) of your friends at checkout, you automatically get 10% off your order!

They also have an amazing policy called the Shop Relaxed Guarantee which includes:

  • Price Guarantee – if you find the product online for less, they will happily refund you the difference
  • Easy Returns – you have a generous 60 days to return any product you are not happy or satisfied with
  • Shipping – If you act now until Sunday (7/25/2010), they are offering FREE shipping on your entire order.  Normally a flat rate of $4.99 whether you order one item or fifty…which is still a bargain!

Abe’s Market will be our go to place online for all things green and all-natural by a community that shares and supports Abe’s Market ideals about health and wellness, reliability, trust and honesty.  Check out Abe’s Market at

    We love Abe’s Market! When everyone else was sold out of California Baby’s Sunscreen, they had it!

    I found the service to be terrible. Ordered an item on-line. It was for a special occasion (daughter’s B-Day) so i called customer service and was reassured it would be there in time. I did not receive the food item until 3 weeks later!! A full 2 weeks after it was expected (and needed).
    Numerous e-mails to customer service at Abe’s have gone unanswered.

    their customer service is non-existent. i received a damaged item and have sent 4 emails asking for this issue to resolved. 3.5 months later (!), i have yet to receive a reply. they are as unprofessional and shady as it gets. once they have your money, they are done with you regardless of whether they lived up to their end of the bargain. what a shame: i would have loved to support a green website, but this is why people keep going back to

    These guys are scammers……BUYERS BEWARE. They lure sellers in asking for free samples and then no response. Guess who keeps all the free merchandise?

  • Poor Service

    Their descriptions are wrong, super slow shipment, complicated returns, and they deleted my comment correcting their item description.

    I also received over 20 emails from them in the past month since placing my order.

    I agree with the below comment. They are so unorganized and slow. I would never purchase anything from them again. I ordered an item and canceled before it was shipped and even got an email congratulating me how he was able to stop the shipment. Yet i was kept on getting emails regarding the order saying it would be shipping soon. I checked with the company 3times making sure that it was canceled and got response kept telling me that it was. And guess what? I just received the package that was supposed to be cancelled before it was shipped.

    I am terribly disappointed with the service from this company. I ordered high end soaps from them. I got a product that was poorly packaged and looked outdated. I emailed my complaint to the company. They never responded. I am typically a loyal customer. I will never do business with this outfit, nor will I refer anyone to them.
